ISSUE 4 BUILD Hi Team the object of this weeks build is to assemble 2 Ribs and to fit 2 x part 12 to the Bow former. I am concentrating on fitting the Balsa infills to the Bow and fairing that part (It is easier when it is not fitted to the rest of the ship )so it is part finished. ISSUE 4 BUILD I cleaned off the ash and assembled the ribs 13 and 15, I used my board with the plastic fitted to glue all the parts with PVA, and when the glue was dry I placed the ribs in my tile sandwich :- MWG attached the following image(s): MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.

The balsa work is looking good there Mike, I have just received Parts 4 & 5 so I'll be having a fun weekend doing my first ever balsa work.

Hi mike. Looking good mate, see the balsa wood fillets are out again, will you be filletting all the bottom of the hull. Ian Current builds.Hachettes build the bismark,HMS Victory, HMS Hood. Finished Builds Corel HMS Victory cross section.

Nice Start Mike like it . As you know I'm building the Victory at the moment would you recommend putting Balsa in her bow and stern? It's my 1st wooden ship build and it must help a lot with curving the planking...
