ISSUE 4 BUILD

Hi Team the object of this weeks build is to assemble 2 Ribs and to fit 2 x part 12 to the Bow former.

I am concentrating on fitting the Balsa infills to the Bow and fairing that part (It is easier when it is not fitted to the rest of the ship )so it is part finished.

This is what we received this week:-

I cleaned off the ash and assembled the ribs 13 and 15, I used my board with the plastic fitted to glue all the parts with PVA, and when the glue was dry I placed the ribs in my tile sandwichBigGrin :-

Hi Mark thank you for the compliment, but I am not a master, Mr T has probably forgotten more than I know, about model making, plus there are other members far more qualified than me. But I appreciate your sentiments.

Just as an aside Mark the way I am constucting the build is my interpretation please be aware while following what I do, that changes could be made by Deag that may affect what I am doing, and could affect your build. just giving you the heads up.But I will help you through should they arise.

Kind regards

Mike

Nice Start Mike like it Cool. As you know I'm building the Victory at the moment would you recommend putting Balsa in her bow and stern? It's my 1st wooden ship build and it must help a lot with curving the planking...

Cheers
