Hi Mike, thanks for such a useful build diary. I'm currently in the process of setting up my work space and your tools list has been a great help allowing me to create a basic tool set for the build. I'd never have thought of using tiles to keep pieces flat (was thinking of using books) so I popped into B&Q today and picked up a pair of 500mm x 500mm floor tiles for a few pounds (other diy stores are available). Hopefully be up and running this weekend although will have to wait 4 weeks for my next bunch of issues which will contain the stern keel piece... Keep up the good work. Will definitely continue looking in for more hints/tips for us 1st time builders... Andy Andy Current Builds: - HMS Sovereign of the Seas Planning on Building: - Scratch built HMS Victory full detail interior (I know what's inside even if you can't see it ) Completed Builds: -
