Dodgy Part - Can I get away with it? Options

I've just had issues 73-76 delivered, and i'm running a bit behind with my build so I've set aside this afternoon to catch up.

I noticed as I opened up the packaging with the monocoque in, that there are a few black marks on the side. It looks like the factory was running out of silver paint and 'missed a bit'. Am I right in thinking that the suspension parts will cover it up anyway so you won't be able to see it?

I've taken a pic so you can see what I mean....

Me personnally i would ask for a replacement from customer service for the money your spending it dont take long and it will look right from every angle you look at it when you show your work as i would be Mad Cursing Crying Angry Mad Cursing Crying Angry Mad Cursing Crying Angry to say the least

Ask for a repalcement as this area is not covered.

Though have you checked beneath the protective tape just to see that it is the monocoque marked rather than just the protective tape?

I had exactly the same problem with my monocoque!!! Two black lines right across the front!Cursing
Customer service sent another one....no problem in about two weeks.
Sorted!BigGrin
