Have been looking through some of the HMS Victory build diaries and have seen that some of them have gone to the effort of adding internal lighting. Is anyone planning on lighting up their SotS build? Or have much experiance in internal model lighting? Cool build diary Moriarty. Loved the windlass handles as well Will have to have a look for some low power variable voltage LEDs and wiring - I think a trip to Maplins is in order for initial ideas/pricing... Just checked on Maplins site, but nothing grabbed my attention. Dont laugh, but I have seen a small set of white led (or coloured) Xmas tree lights that run off 3 volts. Where? In my local £1 shop With a few alterations, it could be made to illuminate a model ship. Guess where I am going tomorrow Model boats built so far:-
