Hi guys, My model looks pretty good so far but i seem to be having trouble with marks & scratches due to handling it.I wash my hands often to stop marks & i'm as gentle as possible when working on each piece but no matter how careful i am i get fine scratches or smudge marks that won't come off.How is everyone else stopping this? Awhile ago I did see a photo in a build diary & they were wearing tight cotton gloves with rubber grips on the finger tips.Is this the answer & were would i get a pair? Thanks.Stuart.

most of the scratches are done by what you lay the model and parts on,I personaly don't use gloves,is because I have very dry hands,but if yours are a bit moist then gloves are a must,try laying an old blanket on your worktop or a sheet of mattress sponge,that should do it. Thanks for the advice Karl, I am pretty careful with the model parts & keep them on a soft cloth when not handling them.The problem seems to happen when i'm working on each piece & when finished i see little marks that weren't there before.I think i need some gloves.Does anyone know where i can get some that would help?

Try finger cots just to cover your finger ends rather than a full glove available on eBay in bags of 50 for a couple of quid might do the trick
