Thanks to all for the advice on the stand, I will await the final part and/or seek a stand from a dealer.

Replacement small parts, i.e. cannon blocks and eyes. Two of my blocks have split (simply on picking up with the tweezers) and I have lost an "eye" !!

Anybody know of how/who to contact for replacements. I would have thought that DeAgostini would have supplied one or two "additional" small parts such as these in case of either damage or loss...they are tiny !!

Thanks

Hi Mike,
My understanding is that you cannot get spares from DeAg only buy another Issue with that part in from their shop. I actually bought a few copies of issue 1 at £1.99 for spares. The easiest solution is to go to the Website of a company like 'Cornwall Model Boats' and buy a few bags of spares, things like Blocks and Eyelets are fairly cheap. Maybe top it up with tools or Glue to justify the postage. I'm actually not using those 'tiny' blocks and eyelets they are too big for the scale in my opinion!! I'm using even smaller ones. So if you want just a few and you're stuck let me know, I could always pop a few in the post.

Hi Mike,

For the Sovereign, replacement issues can be requested via email or phone:

customercare@deagostini.co.uk or call 0845 1489 256

If emailing, remember to include your customer account info etc.

If you have received damaged parts or have not received parts, the issue containing these parsts will be provided FOC.

If you have lost parts, then you will need to order a replacement of the issue you require, which will require payment.

when I got issue 2 & 3 in the post there was an extra cannon wheel with the cannon so you never know, be patient and the part you need may appear
