Hey MWG forgive the newbie question...but what do you use to get the rough shape of the balsa? I've never used balsa before let alone a model like this but would very much like to give it a go. cheers

Hi CPT, I measure the space between the ribs, transfer it to the balsa wood and cut using a razor saw and or knife, then shape with sandpaper and file. I will be doing a tutorial of how I carry out the task, on my build diary. I have already shown how I do the front rib earlier on in my diary Thank you for a positive question I hope the answer helps you Regards Mike MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.
