I need some advice. I am building the Bridge Ladders and the strakes. While executing steps 38 to 50 I have noticed that towards the middle and top the there is a gap between the strake and the bow. On one side the strake is wider than the bow and on the other side it is the opposite. The bow is centered on the bottom and looking at the individual components on the bow they do not appear to be misaligned. No matter how would you recommend fixing this. I can sand down the extra width on from the bow on one side but I am loath to sand the strakes on the other side to align with the bow. Should I use a filler of some sort, if so what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is the first time I have run into this problem. I have include 2 pictures to illustrate the problem. Looking directly at the first on you can see how the strakes are wider than the bow. The second one show how the bow is wider than the strakes. I know its not as neat as yours but this is only my 4th wood model. All your help is appreciated.

Thanks Andy, I was leaning towards the second option. I must admit that I did not think the first option was possible but I may give it a try

Thanks everyone, steaming worked like a charm. I am now fixing the box and will look at the stern next. Some of the pieces are so close to each other that it almost takes a magnifying glass to see the difference. Thanks again for all your help. Hopefully I will not need help again for awhile.
