. I received the drawings on disc, I took the disc to my copiers and asked them to print of at a scale of 1 : 1. Alas the biggest they could print of was on to size A 0, at this size the drawings was not quite 1 : 1. I tried another copy shop and got the same advice,
I sent admin a P M telling them of my plight, and asked if they could help, they sent me a paper copy of the drawings, but alas there drawing was bigger than 1 : 1. Surly if my drawing was smaller than 1 : 1 and there's was bigger than 1 : 1. Taken from the same drawing file, there must be a way of getting it to 1 : 1. Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

I just measured the lower main mast on the plan at the side of the mast the measurement says 435mm, but when I put a steel rule against the mast the rule says 472mm?.Confused

so it's NOT to scale the the print is to big, not that it matters only need it as a guide.

It's just yet another example of, well.LOL

As long as you have the measurements indicated, then it shouldn't pose a problem.

I have taken my undersized drawing to another copy shop, (50 miles away) and they blew the drawing up to about 112 % or there abouts, I want to be able to put the masts and yards against the scale 1 : 1 drawing to ensure that all the blocks etc are in the right place, my yards are marked for length, but they do not indicate the distance to the blocks etc. In my eyes a lot easier now, but a lot of work trying to achieve it.
