I thought some of you might be interested in my Lotus R31.... It was 'bodgellised' from the Revell Ferrari R10 which is a very similar shape. The nose had to be shortened, exhausts and body vents filled, rear wing and airbox re-shaped and front wing re-built with a lot of scratch parts. I did the artwork and printed all the decals myself, including the tyre decals. It was a fun project - not a 'perfect' replica, but as near as I could get until someone makes a 'proper' kit of the car. Roy. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Hello Roy,
Don't know how it has happened, but I missed this thread of yours and I have to say you've done a great job on the conversion especially brillant considering the fact that you made the decals yourself - fantastic work mate!!
I've always wanted to learn how to print my own decals but haven't a clue how to do it. Artwork I'm very good at, but don't know how to translate that through my computer into decals that come out the correct size when they print!! Just can't seem to work out how you calculate the correct size when it is on the computer screen. Do you have any links to any tutorials that will show me how to do this or can you give any advice mate?? How did you learn to do it?? Would love it if you could give me some pointers in the right direction please??
All the best mate,
Kev

Hello Roy,
Just wondered if you had read my last post on your thread about how you go about printing your own decals?
All the best mate,
