Hi Timm.
You could try using steelwool on the wheel to clean any dirt or oil off it and to roughen up the serface a little and then use a self etching primer and then your chosen paint.
I would try it on a scrap bit first though.
Best regards.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Hi Team I am pleased to announce we have available a fabulous quality split ships wheel to enhance the Deag partwork BUILD THE VICTORY.

Because together as members of the MODEL SPACE we have good buying power I have been able to secure a great price for two wheels(supplied in a pack)

The Wheels are turned brass, including turned brass spokes, and brass etch parts all to scale (I have included photos of the product for your perusal) the size of the wheel is 17mm spoke to spoke.

To fit the wheels you use the parts supplied in the partwork.

Deag do not endorse, or have any liability concerning this project.

I have permission to use the photographs.

If you would like more information please PM me

Questions and comments welcome.

Kind regards
Mike
