Hi Mike Lovely cannon kit - unfortunately too late for my build. Noticed you now have all four of the Vic's boats on offer, do they come as a set or can they be bought individually? The reason I'm asking is that I made quite a mess of my 34ft launch at the beginning of the build and would like the opportunity to build it again now that I've got more experience with wooden ship-building. Thanks Mike Happy building David

FITTING THE GALLERY ENHANCEMENT. Hi Team, welcome to my tutorial, which will help you to fit the Gallery Enhancement to your satisfaction. THE PRODUCT First and foremost this is an exact 1/84 scale of Victory`s Gallery. If members feel the windows are too small for their taste, then I respect their opinion, but I will tell them the windows are exactly 1/84 scale of Victory`s Windows, if they want to fit larger windows so be it but the Gallery on their Model will not be correct. 18 months work went into this Gallery Enhancment, and is correct in every detail, including the Ballustrades, in depth width length and design (thank goodness for Brass etch) again the Ballustrades are made to 1/84 scale, If members feel they would prefer to fit the Ballustrades which came with the kit, then again I respect their decision, but I will tell them their Ballustrades will not be in scale. This Enhancement is not available from any other source except myself. It came about because I wanted a more accurate Gallery than the one supplied, but I needed other members to also want the same as me, 25 members supported me in this project, and I found a manufacturer willing to toolup and produce the Gallery. NOTE While members still want this product I will make it available, although if it stopped tomorrow I HAVE MINE and the people who wanted the same HAVE HAD THEIRS ---- GOAL ACHIEVED!!!! AREA FOR FITMENT This is where we fit The Enhancement:- MWG attached the following image(s): MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.

FITTING THE GALLERY ENHANCEMENT AREA TO BE FITTED The enhancement was never designed to be fitted to any part of the old Gallery, either complete with windows cut out, or a frame work of the old Gallery cut out. The area on the photos I have just posted is how your Victory should look before we fit the Enhancment.(I HAVE PAINTED INSIDE THE STERN BROWN as the window on the Enhancement are clear, so I thought the dark colour is appropriate, you can use what ever colour you would prefer) The build of yor Model at this point must be as instructed by Deag in their BUILD THE VICTORY MAGAZINE supported by THE OFFICIAL BUILD DIARY (My stance when asked if the whole of the old Gallery should be removed has been YES! ALL OR NOTHING) I will stop this session at this point to allow members to prepare their models as per the photos I have just posted. Thank you for looking in. Every one who has purchased the Gallery Enhancement, has received a PDF of instructions from me, if for any reason you have not received them please email me and I will send them to you. Also You have received my HELP LINE NUMBER. Best Wishes Mike If you have any questions or comments PLEASE! PLEASE! ask MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.

FITTING THE GALLERY ENHANCEMENT PAINTING AND FINISH Hi Team here we are with the second session. This time we are concentrating on painting the ply parts, if you decide to paint or have a natural finish that is a personal choice, I am painting my Victory. NOTE please do not fit the ply parts singularly they must be joined in pairs and then fitted but more about that later It is easier to paint all the parts before you fit them, as you will see as we proceed. I am using the paints supplied by the DE AG shop, I happen to know the manufacturer took samples of the paint from the real Victory so it is very authentic, have a look:- MWG attached the following image(s): MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.

FITTING THE GALLERY ENHANCEMENT PAINTING AND FINISHING I have not used an undercoat, and I am not spray painting my Victory I am using a brush and the reason for no undecoat, I want to see more wood grain through the paint, so it will be lots of thin coats rather than a thick one, here is the black paint:- MWG attached the following image(s): MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.
