Hurricane Sandy has forced 14 crew members of HMS Bounty to abandon ship leaving 2 missing, reports are saying Bounty has sunk.

on thing though, the pictures on tv and online show her having royals, however the del prado bounty only has main, top, and topgallant sails, which is correctConfused

A very sad loss of life and the ship, it makes you wonder why it was out at sea when the storm had been long predicted..

It does indeed Mr T. Terrifying for the crew no doubt, but bravo for the rescue efforts of the US Coast-Guard, putting themselves in harms way.

What a sad loss of a beautiful and iconic ship. Let us hope they build a replacement to honour those who lost their lives. The sea is an unforgiving maiden, may they rest in peace. Crying
