Hello all, me again!

Well how do you like that, the same day I pick up my final issue with decals, My extra detail decal set arrives in the post, magic BigGrin

Although looking at how small some of them are I don't think I'm looking forward to applying them!

What I'm after is some help, the decals came with some instructions on where they're supposed to be applied, but not all of them Confused

I have highlighted these in Red below

Any one who has bought these and know where they should go, advice would be a great help Love

Hello Heinzy,

I have this set as well and I can tell you that the 'barcode' decals are for the sides of the tyrewalls and go anywhere between the two halves of the preprinted white lettering that is already on the tyre, leaving room for the red 'L' or 'R' if you intend to use those? You should have one on each side of the tyre and that goes for each of the four tyres, hence the reason for giving you eight of the same decal since you need two per corner of the car? The barcodes are meant to represent the official FIA tyre stickers that at one point used to go on the tread surface and was worn off after a lap or two, but now they can be seen on the tyrewalls if you look at some current F1 photos?

The two smallest 'Johnnie Walker' logos go on the forward facing curved surface of the wing mirrors (opposite the mirrored side), the two larger figures (the ones without the words 'Johnnie Walker' - just the figures) are for the side of Hamiltons' helmet if you have one, along with the black Visor decal. The 'BOSS' decals are to replace the ones preprinted on the seatbelt shoulder straps should you decide to add a pad to each strap as is the case on the real belts?

The myriad of small silver circles are for placing over various screw heads on things like the front wing endplates and various other points on the car, though you would need to fill the holes until they are reasonably flush with the rest of the surface around the holes. Again if you look at some photos of the 'real' MP4/23 you will see that some show these discs in place. I think they are a kind of sticker that they use on the real cars to make the airflow less disturbed around the screw holes? I don't think it would matter if you decided not to use them, they are just there for added realism I think?

Hope that helps?
