I am already building the SOTS, so don't really want to wade in on the Victory either. However, I fancy doing the X-section build. Will I still get the free gifts if I subscribe from issue 121 onwards?

Hi,
When I subscribed I got a very jolly email promising me all the free gifts, which I didn't expect, so I was understandably quite pleased. When these subsequently did not arrive, I phoned the infamous customer services to query this and was told that the free gifts only applied to the full sub from issue 1. When I said about the email they said they would ring back with a definitive answer, which they never did. No free gifts have arrived so I guess the simple answer is no. But you may get an email telling you otherwise, which apparently you need to ignore.Confused Blink Confused

In short no, the Victory free gifts relate to the Victory series, the Cross-Section is a separate entity.

OK. I've probably got most of the tool anyway, but the magnifying glass and grips would have been handy.
