Thought I would eventually.

Put all the ribs in and checked each one in turn. Everything was spot on. Checked numerous times with spirit level and all seemed fine.

Used small blocks to square the ribs off. However, I looked down it after and it is twisted.

I don't know what to do next. The keel was slightly warped but I straightened it using a heavy weight and it looked fine when putting it together.

Pic shows how bad it is. The deck are just sitting there. No glue. The twist seems to be mainly on the bow. If I press on the right of the bulkhead, I straightens out.

hi rob,all is not lost,so read VERY carefully, the brackets you used are either not square or not long enough to keep the keel at 90o.remove the ship and check each bracket with a square,I use a an old credit card for this.when all done replace the ship and check again,if it is still twisted. in any places on the keelson, bend the bracket nearest to the twist to correct the said twist.and continue along the ship untill all straight,as you didn't put a pic up of the side view I'm assuming you havn't infilled with balsa.if you have infilled, then I'm afraid you will need to remove it,either by cutting or by soaking and start again when all twists and warping corrected.

I had the same problem, the bow was slightly warped and i only noticed how bad it was after i've glued all the pieces together, i never fixed it to perfection although its good enough, but what i did was steam it free, though you'd have to be careful because one the wood is soft its easy to warp when forcing it apart, after i steamed the warped piece an clamped it VERY tightly to a straight block of wood.
Im not sure what your plan will be but if you are going to take the ribs off make sure your keel is flat along something like your jig.
Best of luck!

Right,

I have adjusted the brackets, but I think they could be the problem.

They are only 40mm brackets, and barely touch the keel at the front. Therefore, it is still just twisting. I shall get some 80mm brackets and they will reach much higher. I will put them along the keel and hopefully I can get it straighter.

I was missing a piece and have bought issues 1-6 off ebay. If I cant do it, I shall just rebuild using the new pieces.
