Hi,
i am missing the 12 pound gun from issue 14. I see on the Australian forum that they had the same problem and it way going to be included in issue 17. Does anyone know if this be the case for us also?

Just checked and I see that I never received the gun either.

I just logged in to check if I was the only one to miss out on the 12 pounder in Issue 14. Seems I am not alone. However, on the back of issue 13 there is no mention of the 12 pounder, and I got no insert in Issue 14 to say it would be included in issue 17. Not a biggy if it is already sorted. Bring on the next bunch..

Hi everyone Did any one get the cannon in issue 17? I got one in issue 18 but that was a scheduled one I think. Also no tool kit, I hope this isn’t the shape of things to come.

no the pins are missing also. have emailed, and been told they will try and find out whats happening next week. i will post when i find out anything.

Hi Martin Thanks I emailed them last week they say pins will arrive with issue 20 but it doesnt seem right since issue 17 is building the lower deck and needs these pins,also issue 20 is the start of planking.I think they need to explain in the magazine that these different parts will come in future issues.Have also emailed their headquarters in the UK to clarify what they advise.I await their reply.

Hi 000395 I have just been checking the official build diary and according to that pins should be included in both issue 17 and 20. Something doesn’t seem right here.

i have recieved an email back from customer service, and this is what they have to say:
“The Nails aren’t advertised on the back cover of 16 or in the parts list in issue 17. The running order does not have these until issue 20. There is some reference to pinning the decks in the build assembly buts that’s all I can find. It doesn’t look as they should be there but there is some reference so perhaps this is an error in the build assembly.”
as for the cannon they are still looking into it.
my reply was:
whilst I agree the nails are not advertised in issue 17 or on the back of 16, the whole issue is about fixing the decks using pins. Just out of interest what does the publisher intend for us to use?

will keep you posted. Why on earth do they make mistakes like this?  DeAg have been doing this for a long time and you'd think they'd get it right. I agree, these pins are needed for the decking. You really have to be so careful with these part publications.
