Tonight I completed adding the additional deck supports for the next deck, taking great care to be precise to ensure I did not alter the deck level. When glued in place I put weights on top until the glue had set.... Deck feels a lot stronger now. Now sit back and wait for the next issue to be released..... Am enjoying creating the diary also but sometimes think maybe I am putting in too much detail..... just trying to keep others informed as to progress and possible pitfalls as they appear.... Thanks again.. Alan

Made a start on the launch by taking the 2 remaining strips and using my plank bender bent the planks to fit the profile of the launch...... Once I was happy I then glued the planks in place, trimming at the transom.... Gandale attached the following image(s):

Took a while and had the heart in the mouth a few times but have now managed to separate the launch from the jig..... and as a bonus for tonight, using a fine small file I gingerly filed and shaped the transom.... Rib tops next but thats for another evening... Gandale attached the following image(s):

Well, this weekend I took courage in hand and decided to play around with my Dremel.... Have never used it before for delicate work and I did say in a previous post I would have a go... Used the dremel to sand down the rib tops of the launch and have to say I was very impressed with how delicate you can be with it.... Gandale attached the following image(s):
