We had three times of Pusser's Rum, Jamaican, South African and the third I cannot remember, no doubt someone can, somewhere out by Honkey Fid I expect. That stuff is based on the Jamaican recipe I think, slightly fruity and brutal if abused. Sadly cannot buy it anywhere here in Yorkshire. Legend says Jamaican Rum was the first in the Fleet and was offered free to the RN in gratitude for ridding the region of pirates.
One of the first things I was taught as a sprog was the units of measurement when paying for favours with rum, the first thick ear I got was accompanied by a roar "I said Sippers, not Hands to Bathe!"
Enthralling build, glad to see I am not the only one who works on a cluttered bench, keep getting earache over that from 'er indoors.

happy anniversary Rob & Mrs Rob, I cut the angle away to get the deck flat, otherwise it would come through the face of the deck.
Mo, Have a large on on me. Mo

the stove and the rest of your build looks great robert. the more i look at your,mo's,magpies, and other surprise diaries the more i want to build it, but i am so wary of doing so because of all the problems people have been having. maybe tomick should do an official build, i really think it would be a great help, especially with questions such as flattening the angle at the bow. Come on you Jimmies
