Has anyone experienced alignment problems with Rib Frame 26? Whilst attempting to fit the last of the 3x13 strips as per Issue 12, I have ended up with a gap of some 3-4mm between the top edge of the strip and the first deck supports on Rib Frame 26. This is unlike all the other rib frames where the strip fits quite snugly.

This suggest that there is a problem with that rib frame. Grateful for any tips or suggestions.

I have attached a photo of the rib frame concerned. I have marked it up showing the distance between the deck and the first deck support on rib 26 (marked as B) and rib 22 (marked as A). You can see that B is noticeably bigger than A resulting in a gap once the 3 x13mm strips are fitted. I hope this makes sense now.

JD, would be helpful if you could post a photo of the problem. This would help others give you the right guidance......

I wish I'd read this first, I spent all last night taking everthing apart only to re-assemble and find the same thing. Cursing The only possitive was I had to go and find my vernier which had gone missing for several years. BigGrin

hi Pseudo Nim,this has been pointed out by several diary's,please take a little time to scan some of the very comprehensive diary's that forum members contribute regularly to.it does point out any discrepancies that crop up.also the official build that is updated weekly.good luck and enjoy.
