HI the false cannon ports which we painted black. were know going to plank over. why did we paint it if its getting covered over?

hi because when you cut the cannon ports out you will only see black inside and not the bare wood of the decks

HI just thought it mite of been easier if we had the planking ready instead of cutting bits out later.

hi i am going to cut cannon ports out of mine even though i will not be useing the short cannons i intend having closed cannon ports on my sovereign

HI how are the cannons meant to fit in the ports? Are they the ones we have painted?

Dummy cannon are fitted into these ports, which is literally a gun barrel which has a mounting spigot which is secured into the gun support beam. Full gun carriages are not fitted in the dummy gun ports.
