Hi all
This is a model of the Imperial Japan Army's 28cm howitzer. Its scale is 1/35. IJA attacked Russian strongholds in Port Arthur in 1904.

Hi Andy and Kev!
Thank you for your comments. Recently I'm interested in such models with dioramas. Some friends of mine in Japan are also making dioramas.

Hello Yutaro,

You should build more dioramas, you have done some excellent work on the Howitzer with a great result!! The nice thing about making a diorama is that it is telling a story, rather than just displaying a finished model!!

Good work Yutaro.BigGrin Cool

Loverly model. When you consider how important the role of artillery has been in warfare throughout the ages it is surprising there is not more modelling of the subject.

really nice model.

Hi jase!
Thank you for your comment. I perfectly agree your opinion. I have attached a pic here. In Japan, a lot of modelers publish their know-how of making dioramas in such magazines so that we can refer to them.
Best Regards,
Yutaro

Very nice model Yutaro. You have made a basic black model come alive with the weathering and the figures. Bravo

Hi yamaska and jase!
yamaska, Thank you for your comment from Canada. I've been to Montreal three times on business trip. I guess it is very cold now, but beautiful view can be seen. I hope to visit there for sightseeing some day.
jase, I also thank for your comment as usual. I'll post the pictures of other models. Please watch them when they will be uploaded.
Best Regards,
Yutaro
