Hi Paul

It would be useful if you could quote your source for the above.

According to the facts and figures on the official Victory website, the guns on the upper gundeck were long 12pdrs, rather than short.

This might sound pedantic but we have already had a post on this forum debating whether or not modelling at the scale we are using should recognise the difference in demensions between different gun patterns.

Hi Paul and Mike T,

It is maybe pedantic of me to worry about the weight of the guns on whatever deck but at the end of the day we are are building a model, a representation of "H.M.S Victory" - we are NOT rebuilding the bl**dy thing in full scale.! Lighten up and enjoy the moment.
