 Unfortunatly not Plymouth and iv always had a soft spot for the Gee bee racers they were scary aircraft as you say one big mother of an engine with very small wings and especialy when one crashed at a race when people witnessed the wing skin literaly unsticking itself in flight and the subsequent crash, this was due to the glues available at the time not being strong enough for the forces they were subjected too. I will give a small hint, this was the most aerodynamic aircraft built at this point in time and there are still examples of the aircraft flying today regards Andy  Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Ok here's another question What aircraft was used by the German Airforce in WW2 mostly on the eastern front as an observation aircraft, this aircraft had a lot of glass which lead to its unusual name regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Was it the Focke Wulf Fw189 called the Uhu or Eagle Owl, looked like a green house balanced between two engine nacelles! Phew!  My first guess was the Blohm and Voss BV141, I can remember building that one from the Airfix kit years ago. Strange looking thing, like the Fw189 but with only one engine nacelle, completely asymetrical. When I double checked though it turns out it was only a prototype and didn't go into proper production! OK then! Nasa has produced many different designs for 'lifting bodies', the development of which eventually led to the space shuttle. One of these aircraft was featured in a TV series back in the 70's-80's. What was the name of that series and what was the make and model of the aircraft? Apparently it was the Northrop M2-F2 in the credits but one episode involved flashbacks to the accident and in the original novel it was a Northrop HL-10 so they used that one for that episode! The problem with images is they can be saved and then used on google image search, which brings up similar images and usually tells you what it is! However ill have a question shortly

It says somewhere it was a BOAC flight from Miami back to the USSR so you would think it more than likely a 707, but maybe a VC-10...but the trivia pages state it was a Viscount recorded at Heathrow. " The song opens and closes with the sounds of a jet aircraft flying overhead and refers to a "dreadful" flight back to the U.S.S.R. from Miami Beach in the United States, on board a B.O.A.C. aeroplane " Last time i looked the Viscount was most definitely NOT a jet aircraft...and not flown by BOAC... " During mixing, producer George Martin added the opening and closing sound effects: a Viscount aircraft from the EMI sound files, recorded at London's Heathrow Airport.." Hmmm
