Hello peeps. Well its a New Year and I Needed a break from my 1:16 T-34/85 build. Its a cracking kit, but very intense, so I decided to do a 1:35 scale in between. And this is what I decided on!BigGrin BigGrin

Now in their infinite wisdom, Tamiya made this a bit different by giving you cast metal wheels, which is a nice touch and adds some nice weight to the kit. :D But it has PE in the build, but this doesn't come with the kit and has to be purchased seperately  !!!! Not one of Tamiya's brighter moves!! I ordered 2 and got refunded because they couldn't find them!! So I bought 2 aftermarket PE sets which covered the Tamiya set plus loads of extras and also got a metal and resin barrel set for it.BigGrin BigGrin

Tamiya added a nice touch by giving you jigs to align the suspension arms!! Hopefully I can use them again on other builds!!BigGrin

Cast wheels add some weight and are nicely detailed.

I was going to get some Bronco tracks until I researched them and decided against it!! :D The kit ones are really good and use normal plastic glue to secure them.

The barrel set is nicely detailed and a lot better than the 2 piece kit one!!

PE sets are nice and as I said I can now add some extra detail as well.

I added the fuel lines with some copper wire.

Great build coming along here and it's moving fast. I have not gone in for buying extras as yet but I am watching your choices with interest. I think I may have to give it a try next time.

Wow this one's moving along fast. Nice job with the base coat, now let there be rain, mud, rust and fading.

Did you free hand spray the camo pattern?
