Well its Zandvoort but yes. Its also Interesting to note that this car had a Honda engine, much of which, in Mansell's biography, he claims to have done the development work for - it later powered his Williams Honda....

Thanks TH, I initially was going to say Zandvoort, but I had conflicting reference sources, some saying he was 2nd at Zandvoort and others (the majority) said his 2nd place was at Hockenheim, so I went with the majority!!
My Question - a fairly easy one:
The French GP used to be run on a famous old circuit called Rouen, which actually utilised sections of two adjoining public roads. What I want to know is what was the FULL name of the circuit (the title of Rouen was just an abridged name) and what was the name (letters and numbers) of each of the two public roads that were part of the circuit??

Hi Rob,
I will give you that one mate, I was actually looking for the RN138 and the RN840, which is what's quoted in the book that I have and where I sourced my question from. However, with further research it would appear that those were the old road names when the circuit was regularly being used for racing in the '50s, but they were renamed in more modern times to the D132 and the D938 which I hadn't known!! The full circuit name was indeed 'Rouen-les-Essarts' and apparently, it now has a blooming great motorway running right across the old layout!!
