Hey Guys. This is my finished car. Just waiting for my presentation case for xmas now. What a model though, loved every moment of the build. Bear with me while I work out how to upload the photos. lholland attached the following image(s):

Well done Lee, you've done an excellent job with your McLaren and you should be rightly proud of what you have achieved. Very neat and tidy!!

Thanks guys. I am very proud of it. Not sure how i managed to get 2 of the same photos up but nevermind. Will be posting a few more on the finished builds gallery.

Good work Lee Great photography, I would love to see more pictures. You are rightly very proud, it has been the better part of two years of creation, I for one have found it much tricker than I expected back in March 2011, but also the end result is much better than I imagined. Give yourself a pat on the back and on christmas morning put it in it's display case and use it as the table centre piece .

Great build Lee. How did you do your white stripes on the tyres?Might try these myself.

Hi Davy. Thanks for the kind words, I just painted the lines on. It took a bit of patience and a steady hand though. I was going to put the 'L' and 'R's on in red but decided against that idea.

Cheers.Was thinking about the L and R myself.The tyres need a little something else though so i may do both lines and letters.
