Hi all, Progressed some more on the launch. Primed the two brass mesh parts. Come out okay with no holes clogged with paint   Once dry I sprayed them matt black, and again no holes blocked!! Positioned them in the launch and used a few drops of super glue on the edges to secure to the wood.   Fiddly, but please with the result. Thats all for now. Claret. Also working on:

wow great work on the launch, i was too afraid of getting paint in the holes of the brass mesh but you seem to of done it perfectly, nice work! Processing - Progressing

Claret, love the work on the launch... mesh is superb... did you use an airbrush?? I intend using Blacken-it when I eventually get to that stage... Regards Alan

Hi all, Not posted any updates for a bit, but have been busy planking, and enjoying it so far  Here are some pics of my progress so far, all planks are pre-drilled to take the pins. I had to buy some extra from CMB. Are we supposed to reuse them? plenty of pva glue has been used to ensure all contact points are glued.    The plank in the last picture at the top is only resting there, it has not been pinned. Thats all for now. Claret. Also working on:

Hi All, I have been working on the planking, taking it steady, pre-drilling to ensure the pins do not split the bamboo.      There are a few uneven areas, but i hope this will sand level at a later date. That is all for now. Claret Also working on:
