Great Progress Mike, Love the double cup bend solution, wish i had thought of that!! just proves easy to bend the laminated structure I soaked mine in hot water after painting. no problem.

Looks Great

Hi Mike,
Greetings from Malaysia! Your build looks fantastic and inspire me to further enhance the detailing of the ship. Just wonder whether the Gallery Enhancement still available. It would be great to have this enhancement for my Victory. Looking forward... Drool

SHIPS CUTTER

Hi Team I have just received Issue 147 of the X SECTION BUILD and on page 7 there is a picture of a ships cutter which I thought I would share with you.

As you may or may not know I am building different Ships boats which I think are more authentic, for the Victory and SOTS (many of you have seen them ) they have resin hulls and brass etch detail.

This cutter in issue of 147 is identical to how I am building mine, the model is in the National Maritime Museum Greenwich London.

The text tells how this cutter built in the late Georgian style was clinker built, as was the case with the Victory`s cutter, and as I have always believed rowed by 12 oars ( 6 rowlocks per side not 8) a very simple craft but very effective.

I hope it is of interest

Kind regards
Mike

Hi Team I am now reconnected to my Broadband, I have never known such a shambles as BT, if this happens one more time I will be changing provider.

I have to wade through 2349 emails (the bulk are business)

My sincere thanks to Ian and Jase for posting to you guys about my plight

I will empty my PM box and answer all the emails from you all in the next couple of days

Best wishes Mike
