As I got my launch in part 6 I noticed some degree of laser burn, so a quick search around I found some good advice on MSW, linked here - http://modelshipworld.co...2/viewtopic.php?t=11614
Quote:I have had a lot of sucess just using a rubber Quote:I've seen Windex recommended. Perhaps with a soft toothbrush. Agree with Bob, probably best to test on scrap first. Of course if your painting then this is not for you Feel free to add you laser burn removal tips.

A selection of rifflers and needle files seem to do the job quite well (along with a bit of W&D paper to polish things off). It may be worth noting that before assembling the launch jig (#6) it will be easier (and advisable) to prep the inside surfaces of the formers and planking first (removing laser burn and smoothing the flat surfaces) as trying to get to these areas, once the launch is removed from the jig, will be considerably more difficult once assembled. just a thought Schnellboots on back burner
Tools.
