A update to my build diary. I have fitted the two curved wood scroll shapes to the stem post. And fitted the deck beams.

ooow just a point I have just spotted on your bow. I would remove the lower moulding. Like you I fitted mine as instructed in the magazine then over Christmas had to remove them to fit the white metal scrolls. Yours are certainly to close together. I would fit them at the time you fit your figurehead.

Info for the wife ref green paint it was B&Q own range of paint I think the colour was called spring green.
I hope this will not affect your victory build, by having to do some decorating?.
