Onwards we go and tonight I tapered the planks as detailed in the mag and Mr T's official build.... tapered the upper edge of the new planks to get as good a fit as possible, think it worked out very nicely... 2 rows completed and now left to dry before continuing..... While waiting for the planks to set thought I would finish the evening by fitting the painted thwarts to the launch.... Gandale attached the following image(s):

Regards, Bernd Thanks for looking in Bernd..... I like to spend a little while in the evening working on the old girl, helps me wind down from a days work.... All pins are pulled out when the PVA has dried, this needs to be done or problems will occur when it comes to sanding smooth.... I think the hull is going to sand down very nicely but may have to use some filler on some small areas, will just have to wait and see how it finally works out.... think 2 more weeks and the lower hull will be covered..... Regards Alan

This weekend I finished the planking up to issue 26 with no major problems encountered... Worked out I only have 5 more rows of planking to go to finally complete the lower hull with the first layer. Also took the opportunity to trim up the stern section a little.... Only leaves me with the work to carry out on the launch before the next issue on Wed... Happy building to all.....
