Hi Petpole An unusual subject and different, just a note about the rear open area, most people just thought it was there to make it easyer to hop on and off the bus but it was a major safety feature. If the bus was ever to have an accident and end up on its side people could still escape through the rear open part. Also she was designed by aircraft enginears hence the round edges and use of aluminium on the body parts. I too have the same compressor and its been faultless for over a year now regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Thanks for all your interest, it's great to think an unusual build like think gets looked at as it is a piece of our history. That information about the bus being designed by aircraft engineers was a real treat Arpurchase thanks for that, have been doing some research about the bus mainly in pictures as I am just checking the design if there are any improvements I could make. Once again thanks for your interest hope to have some pictures up very soon. Builds in progress: HMS Victory.HMS Surprise. Completed builds: Revell London Bus 1/24. Builds to do:Sovereign of the seas, Hms Albion.

Hi All with an airbrush kit try to get a gravity and a bottom feed airbrush [ie one of each], the bottom feed is great for large areas and the gravity for finer work as for price its take your pick really ,Petpole's looks a good buy as it has both brushes mentioned above. On another note the seats on the bus originally had a leather edge about 10/12 inches wide to enable passengers to slide in and out the seats quickly and nice work on the engine regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .
