Christian Horner is backing Vettel, Hamilton is backing Alonso and Bernie is backing Button! There's alot of pressure on Perez to win some races, earn some decent points The 2x Mercedes we're deffinately showing some great pace of the final days of testing and Ferrari showed some decent times too Placing money on who will be 2013 champion? I would probably put it on Vettel again But as a Button fan, I would love to see him lift the title as the most experienced man on the gird now!

I'd like to see Button get his second title before Hamilton, I also think that Webber should step up to the plate now and grab a title as time is running out for him and he does have the car most likely to get him there, so what's he playing at!? He'd be a popular winner I feel if he could do it?
I'll stick my neck out and say that Alonso is finally going to do it again this year and I think he would deserve it as well, even though I don't like Ferrari. He has taken it to the last race in the previous two seasons whilst having an inferior car underneath him but the Ferrari looks better this year and is just about THE most reliable car every year. Even with only the odd victory in a season, consistent high points scoring can often end up beating the guy who has won a good handful of races but also had some DNF's along the way!!
Failing all that I think Raikkonen is in with a shot as well? All he needs to do is finish each race and in the points whilst his French team mate takes the top drivers out at the first corner and the job's a good 'un!!!
Roll on this weekend ... AND next weekend in Malaysia!!

It's no secret on my opinion of lewis(the brat)but, wait for it,I still and always have believed that he is the fastest driver!!! and the times set in testing surprised and got me groaning, testing a new car and getting those fastest laps,I fear he might do it,reliability being the only issue in that scenario.MY hope for the title is jenson, with alonso knocking on the door, webber I fear is past his sell by date.the dark horses will be lotus, and sauber, with williams improving on last year. k. Current builds: SotS, USS Consitution, San Felipe, D51 loco, HMS Surprise, RB7, Arab Dhow, Jotika HMS Victory Completed builds: HMS Pickel, Thermopylae, Mississipi river boat, Mary Rose, Cutty Sark, San Francisco II, HMS Victory x5, Titanic Lifeboat, Panart HMS Victory Launch, Hachette Titanic, Virginia Schooner, Endeavour Longboat. http://www.model-space.com/gb/

I think you are pretty much on the money there Karl and whilst I too would love Jenson to take the title I really do think that Alonso will have the tools to do the job this year ... unless that McLaren is as good as they aren't letting on - Nudge, nudge, wink, wink - and I don't think that Red Bull will have their normal edge this year!!
I think Maldonado is on for another win this year as well, if not two as it looks like Williams may have found something with their radical aerodynamics around the gearbox area?
Looking good for another very exciting season ... can't wait to see how the first two races pan out and then we'll see more clearly who has the hot wheels this year?

Think it will be the last year at Red Bull for Webber if he's off the pace..

I agree Tom!!
I reckon a Vettel/Raikkonen pairing at Red Bull in 2014 could be fun?!

So Red Bull 1-2, are we going to see a repeat of 2011? I well and truely hope not! Let's see how qually pans out tomorrow, I can't imagine too many of the teams are holding back at this point Interesting to find out what happened with the mercs Early issues after a successful 3rd test?
