Hi group

I have just started this build and received the first 4 packs of parts.

I have started to build the frame work as described in the instructions and have come across a problem. Frames 7 and 8 (which are identical) both have locating pegs at the bottom of the frames, however, the base to which 4 frame parts attach only has 3 sets of holes.

Should I remove the location pins from frame 8 or drill location holes in the base to accommodate the pegs?

thanks guys

You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

BigGrin Hi Riff Raff
the two parts with lugs are part 8 the missing part without lugs is sent later I think in the next pack of 4 if you chop off the lugs and use it then it can affect the hull shape later on. hope this helps
regards
AndyCool

Ps This problem with the hull formers has been mentioned in several build diary's and it was the same in Japan when it was 1st issued there
Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi there,

I ran into the same problem and you must wait for the proper part. I decided to cut off the lugs only to find that I had to deconstruct the hull because it was misshaped. Patience will save you a lot of time.

Hi
It looks like that the problem with two No.8 frames has not gone away.I have just received my first issue and have the same and will have to be patient and hope No.7 arrives in the next delivery.
