PREPARING THE GALLERY ENHANCEMENT BRASS ETCH

Hi again, the first job is to cut all the pieces from the brass fret, please use a sharp knife.
Then with a file take off the burrs where the parts have been attached to the Fret:-

Next we offer the parts to the ship and in each case form the shape of the brass etch to the curve of the particular panel it is being fitted to, being careful not to overdo it:-

PREPARING THE GALLERY ENHANCEMENT BRASS ETCH

All the brass parts should now be prepared for painting, frist job is to remove all the grease by using Ladies nail varnish remover, please wear a mask and use outside as it has very strong fumes it is acetate. wipe all the brass with this then wash in warm soapy water.

We can now spray our metal primer on the parts ----- but thats for next time. I will leave you with photos of the two products I have used.

Thanks for looking in Kind regards Mike
