Thanks all for the comments it's nice to have good feedback. Warthog the colour on the inside is a burgundy with a little wood brown mixed in, I have the external shell colour already mixed and I will put some pictures up as soon as I have sprayed them, but still a lot to do. Thanks all. Builds in progress: HMS Victory.HMS Surprise. Completed builds: Revell London Bus 1/24. Builds to do:Sovereign of the seas, Hms Albion.

Wow Does this bring back memories, got to have a go at one of these when I done my bus test,**years ago. The instructor said "take the handbrake off", well all three of us tried over 10 minutes while he had a cuppa and watched over our shoulders, then when he`d finished his tea, he added "you have to put your foot on the brake first". Love the build, keep the pics coming. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Hi Petpole, you said you are "Trying your best to do a Top model" - well you are mate!! That is a stunning build you have there, I love it, love it, love it!!!
Really makes me want to jump on board and go upstairs to sit at the top front seats. I love all the details like the fluorescent green stripes on the stairs, the used ticket box, the seat covers - Revell have done a great job with this kit and you have put it together very well. Think I'm gonna get me one of these before they sell out!!
Well done mate - my favourite build on MS at the moment!!

Completed Builds: Del Prado: HMAS Bounty: Hachette: RMS Titanic: Del Prado: Cutty Sark...

I like this build, something different and i cant wait to see it progress- If you are looking for some passengers then i have some seated "ladies" if you'd like them, they are 1/24 scale and are surplus to my requirements. I bought a pack of 20 1/24 people to abuse with a dremmell and putty to turn them into the crew of the Orca from Jaws. Steve

Thanks for your comments kev and Jonny, I can't quite remember the old RT 's , but I have been doing some research and I think I might have a go at making one of the original routemaster's from another kit after this one, it would be a bit of a challenge for my skills but as my dad used to say if you don't try you will never find out if you can do it. So I will finish this build then I might get the black cab as a different build in between. Thanks Steve for the figures they would look great on the build as I was only looking to get 3 of them as I was going to make a conductor, driver and a Blakey and a type of diorama from on the buses as I have been recording the series. Just pm me the details and any recompense you require. Once again thanks for the kind comments. Builds in progress: HMS Victory.HMS Surprise. Completed builds: Revell London Bus 1/24. Builds to do:Sovereign of the seas, Hms Albion.

Hi Peter, this is the first time I have had a good look at your diary on this build... Brings back memories of being dragged into town on shopping trips with my mother and of course the daily trips to school and back.... Fond memories of these buses.... First class build you have going, keep up the good work. Will be watching to see how this one turns out....
Regards
Alan
