hey every1 just wondering if any 1 knows if there we be details of how to paint the victory inside the issues as i decided last nite to go with the black and yellow trafalgar. First time builder and really getting in to the build now

Welcome aboard , Yes there will be detailed instructions on what to paint and what not to. It will give instructions on both natural finish and the Trafalgar colouration. Hope this helps with your question.. Here is a link for you to have a read through aswell. All info in one spot.

Can anyone explain the rationale for the position of the yellow and black stripes on the side of the Victory? The instructions in step 74 are vague as to just where the borders are and the picture is unclear.

The rationale is the build is based on how she looked during Trafalgar, the stripes are not uniform nor do they follow the line of the wales or gun ports. Stage 74 covers the process for the stained version but stage 75 covers how to paint, the pics show exactly where the stripes run.... A pic of your build may also help to clarify things....
