This model shows the VICTORY name on the stern as large letters where the current ship and Mike's gallery seem to show a smaller nameplate enclosed in a line. Also the window frames on the model are pre-printed in black but all pictures of the ship seem to show the window frames in ochre. Can anyone shed light on what she looked like at "Trafalgar" or the reasons why there are differing details. Was it just down to build states and updates/refits? HELP Thanks in anticipation! Hi there Vic Try this link to the Jotika website (specifically their construction photos) This kit was designed with the very latest research on the actual ship to build her as close to the Trafalgar configuration as possible. The photos are all downloadable as are the Jotika construction manuals, (I've got them all on my PC and regularly use them for reference) in my DelPrado upgrade build. Hope this helps. hi vic, what robin has said is quite true, you don't say what your level of experience is, I would not advise you to do alterations unless you know what your doing, many of us have taken up mwg enhancements and altered the gallery and other mods, and they need a fair bit of expertise to carry out, and are quite expensive to do,If you wish to go down that route, then contact mwg,and you will see his enhancements are based on the jotika victory, which is reputedly the most accurate model of the victory in kit form. there are many examples of the deagostini 's victory in the build section, check them out as well, and good luck. k.
