I agree Rob!! I'm not a Ferrari fan, but Malaysia is a circuit that suits Ferrari - Alonso won it last year in an inferior car, so I think it will be him or Massa, possibly Raikkonen again?
My wife tells me that Red Bull are whinging about the new tyres!! You know when a team starts whinging about something that they are on the back foot so let's hope this ISN'T another RB dominant and boring season!!
P.S. - Would love JB to do well this weekend but it ain't gonna happen for a little while or at least until they get to the European races according to JB himself!!

Can't wait for the new format next season, probably going to have cars without high airboxes again just like the MP4/4 design - WOOOOHOOOOO!!

Going back to last years car is the equivalent of watching millions being flushed down the toilet. God knows what the R&D costs were for it, just to be retired after 1 race!

Having just watched the final practice, i think its a bit of a lottery again. The Mclaren looks better but still nowhere near the mark and Force India have just given a surprising performance albeit they probably wont figure so much in the race. Mercedes appear to have made a significant move forward but apparently their race performance is still nowhere near where they need it to be. I think the Red Bulls will probably take pole but the Ferraris will be the ones to beat in the race and I have an incling that Massa could win the race if the team allow him to finish in front of Alonso ( I really dont see that happening, they'll probably drag him in if he's in front). I get the feeling the Lotus is quick but not as good as last weekend, my prediction would be...
1st Massa 2nd Alonso 3rd Vettel

I predict:
1st Alonso 2nd Raikkonen 3rd Massa 4th Vettel
The Ferraris are going to be the ones to beat in Malaysia and the Lotus seems to be very easy on these new tyres where others are struggling to keep them alive. Especially the Red Bulls, who have been moaning about them already and Red Bull don't seem to be as good in the race as they are in Qualifying if Australia was anything to go by?
.... but then it could rain!!

A Vettel brake test on Alonso or not, and will Webber move on?

Mark has said that he is going surfing back in Oz to think over what happened with Seb today and I think he will come back from the three week break with one of two options for the rest of the season. He's either gonna throw in the towel and quit Red Bull as of this race or he's gonna say that's it gloves off, I can't trust Seb and you know what, I'm not listening to the team anymore, I'm gonna do all I can for me and try and win the Championship at what will likely be his last chance!! When Mark is riled he drives much better and I think that although there is a Schumacheresque stink about what Seb did today, he might just have done Mark a favour today by giving him a very good reason to make life as difficult for Seb as he possibly can and maybe go on to take the Championship himself!! Those two will be taking points off each other for the rest of the season now, which may well let Ferrari through to take both titles?
If Mark quits, and I suspect he might, then I can see Bernie engineering Hamilton out of the Merc and into the Red Bull sooner rather than later!! I also suspect that Hamilton has a performance clause in his contract that will allow him to jump ship at the end of the year if Mercedes aren't where he wants them and they only did so well today because they were very light and marginal on fuel so they aren't as good as they look to be in my opinion!!
Why do the Germans have this all conquering, self-important attitude all the time?? I like the Germans, if I'm honest, but that is their least endearing trait and lets them down so badly in my view!!
Seb definitely brake tested Alonso today IMHO - he's done it before and he'll do it again!!

Just a thought here:
Imagine it is the final race of this season. Mark didn't quit after Malaysia, but hung on in there in the hope that he might still have a chance of the 2013 Drivers' Championship? Unfortunately, it hasn't worked out for him yet again and the best he can hope for going into the last race is 3rd spot. The Constructors title is all sewn up for Red Bull, but the Drivers' title has gone down to the wire again between Vettel and another driver.
Vettel can take his fourth straight title IF he wins and his rival finishes no higher than third.
Last lap coming up, Vettel is way ahead and Mark riding shotgun protecting Vettel from his rival who is at least 10 seconds further back, so it looks like it's all going Vettels' way yet again?
Last two corners coming up, Mark suddenly remembers what Vettel did to him back in Malaysia and feels like it's payback time!!
Message from Mark to Christian on the Pit Wall:
"I reckon I've got it sorted for Seb mate!!"
Message from Christian to Mark:
"That's great Mark, you're doing a great job - well done!!"
Post Race analysis in the Red Bull Motorhome:
Mark: Jeeezzz!! I'm really sorry Seb but I lost concentration on that second to last corner mate and didn't mean to put my car in the wall ... honest!!
Mark again: Hey, Seb ... Shame your rival finished second and you lost the title mate, but hey, life sucks sometimes doesn't it mate? Sorry you couldn't rely on me cobber but there's always next year ... have a nice life, ... I'm outta here!!!
Mark gets up and leaves with a smug grin on his face!!!

Mark definitely not a happy bunny neither is Nico, can't say I blame either of them. I'm inclined to agree with you that Mark will probably announce that he is quitting Red Bull within the next 3 weeks which would be a shame,I would love it if he came back & said thats it i'm driving for me & go on to take the title..he deserves it,so for that matter does Massa, they both had to put up or shut up in their careers to this point in time. Lewis no doubt interested in the situation as he wants Webber's seat badly. That would be one combustible partnership, Vettel and Hamilton. They might as well forget about team orders completely, as both of them will just go tooth and nail at each other. Oh, and LOL at Hamilton pulling into the wrong pits

The thing is that whilst ever Vettel is winning, and clearly favoured, Webber is never going to have a shot at the championship unless Vettel has a bad season, or a crash that puts him out of action for a while..

Awww the least Mclaren could have for done Lewis was change his tyres...for all times sake. Rofl.
I think maybe Ross brawn should have allowed Rosberg to have a go at Webber and let him pass Hamilton. Not sure why he didnt this early in the season, maybe Brawn felt Rosberg's fuel wasn't any better than Hamiltons, but it does make you wonder what will happen should the tables be reversed later in the season.
I have a feeling Vettel is going to regret that mistake, Webber had that same look on his face when most blokes wives say "Fine!" and you guys know what that usually means...ouch!
I'm not sure what happened between Vettel and Alonso, probably brake tested as Kev said earlier however, Alonso should have pitted after the first lap instead of trying to push it, he had plenty of time to come back.

Vettel proved today what everyone already thought about him,as for mark this will make or break him, as much. I don't like red bull would like to see him come back and batter Vettel. As for Hamilton I don't see him leaving any time soon,I know many people who work there and he is 100% committed to making that team winners. Builds in Progress
