So here we are the Hull is ready for Spraying (except for PE) and I've done a test fit of the amazing MK1 Wooden Decking to identify what needs painting on the deck, although some of these are to be replaced with PE first, notably the Anchor Hitches, it all fits absolutely perfectlyBigGrin BigGrin
My little Airbrush Compressor isn't up to a spraying job of this size, so a new twin compressor with tank has been ordered.
http://www.everythingairbrush.c...alog/info_AB_AS_196.html
Whilst I am waiting I might find the time to add the PE Portholes and Rungs to the Hull. Each Rung has 3 attachments to the Fret and needs 2 bends and there's a lot of themCrying
And yes my 'Dirty Den' needs a good tidy upLOL LOL

Hi Andy,
The MK1 PE is superb, it will be a shame to paint it, it will require a very light touch with the Air Brush to keep all the microscopic detail. This was another reason for the new Compressor, to avoid any variations due to pulsing.

I have not seen any pics yet but the crew could be quite interesting.

most manufacturers seem to be taking the etch by section approch i guess to keep the price down, or maximise profits. Glare
