I would like to suggest HMS Ark Royal as she finished service in the Eighties with her angled decks with Phantoms Buccaneers and Fairey Gannets

HMS Ark Royal is bigger from HMS Rodney. This was a perfect aircraft carrier that was designed for British royal Navy. H.M.S. Warspite and WW11 survivor both performed well but HMS Ark Royal has its unique identity.

I agree WWII Ark Royal an iconic ship how about the Graf Zeppelin? that ship could have changed the war if it had been compleated

Easy mistake to make Jase, but I'm sure the 'Graf Zeppelin' was a rather large Airship!! I think you meant the 'Graf Spee'?! Blushing Blink Huh Flapper LOL

Oooooppsss!!!! Blushing Blushing Blushing

HaHa!! Just shows how little I know about ships doesn't it, though I do admire some of the builds that you guys turn out? Perhaps I should investigate the subject more?? Well, I never knew there was an Aircraft Carrier with the same name as the airship, I learnt something there!! I stand corrected Rob, thanks for the enlightenment and deepest apologies Jase - it would appear that I was guilty of "trying to teach Granny to suck eggs", as they say!!! LOL LOL Blushing Blushing

Waits for return volley of raspberries from Jase .... LOL LOL
