Welcome to the forum Yzwong, looks like a very nice start to your build... Have to say though, I am surprised to see you are not using a jig to ensure the keel remains straight and true, I believe it to be very important especially on a build of this size..... Hi and thank Gandale for your comment. As for the keel it has been glue and dry up before glue to other parts at the same time as shown in the four pictures. Current build - D51 locomotive

Yzwong Well done -your going well. I only managed to get this far with my build for a number of reasons. At the Moment I am on the sovereign of the seas build but that victory model keeps calling me. Your enthusiasm is catching and I am thinking I need to dust of the victory and do some more. Many thanks again for posting your build. Kindest regards Tony Happy Modelling

Looks good but you might think of faring it a little more, maybe fitting some balsa infills might help as more experienced builders on the site have done. Hope this helps. Builds in progress: HMS Victory.HMS Surprise.
