Does the magazine include any steps on finishing the hull, such as sanding and filling, or is it just something that you do yourself if you need to?

If so, is the best time when you complete the hull and before you start putting the upper strakes on, or is there a better time?

i found it a bit hard to sand down the curve but i guess it depends on the sanding tools you have.

As it's my first planking, it will need some work, but I've armed myself with a mountain of tools. Dremel, mouse sander, sanding blocks, files. You name it I've got it.

Will spend a long time making sure it's right.
