Thanks Tomick, The one i had in mind is not shown, red/black with white lower hull, nevermind Im sure ive seen pics of it though, Also on the Occre website this model is shown completed with furled sails - is this going to be an option during the build diary? Steve

I've not seen any contemporary images showing a white lower hull, so its likely to be a model interpritation rather than factual, though its down to personal preference. The red stripe paint scheme is unlikely to be shown in the instructions, as all finished model images show the earlier yellow stripe scheme.
I'm not aware of furled sails info in the instructions for the ship model, and is unlikely as the finished model images do not show a furled option. But looking at the Cross-section image below, this is shown with furled sails, so is likely to be the case for that item, and gives you a good start for the same mast on the ship model.Tomick attached the following image(s):

So far my research suggests that the red black scheme was just for trafalgar and at this time the hull was coppered below the waterline. Regards Nigel

Thanks Tomick, Here is the image of the completed model at Occre website with furled sails http://www.occre.com/index.php?...roduct&idproducto=27- I would have thought to get this finish you would need a separate set of sails as the full sails will be too big to fold in scale. So either the full kit comes with 2 sets of sails or they can be cut down to fold? Sorry to keep on about this but this is what I want to do with my Vic as well but there is no option with instructions for this, I was just hoping when i saw that photo that this might have the option. Cheers Steve

I'm afraid you can't compare the retail version with the partwork version, and in the same way that the partwork Victory differs to the retail version.
To achieve furled sails on a model, they generally need to be reduced in size to remove some of the sail bulk, this info will help..furled info is towards the end.. http://modelshipworldfor...and_Sails/ScaleSails.pdf
