Moving.
I am moving to the UK in the near future.
Any ideas as to how to protect and pack my model for shipping.
Masts and outside bits are made but not attached yet.

Really heavy duty cardboard box, couple of black bin liners & spray foam.
Basically make tailored protection suit for it by putting a bag in the box & filling with foam then hold either upside down or vice versa while foam sets to shape.Once done place other bag over top & fill that with foam.
So that the top part doesn't build too much pressure to damage the model leave the box & bag open & once hardened trim it to fit the box.
Short of a piano dropping on it nothing should damage the model.
I have done the same thing to a relatives antiques for a 10 mile move in the past but no reason why it wont work for a few thousand, beauty of it is customs can lift out the top layer to inspect if needed without causing damage.

Thanks very much. It's taken a long time but I'm enjoying every minute of it.
