Regards Alan Hi Alan, Yes i could i just wonder if they will look a little flat Hi jase, I made a couple up yesterday and they looked better than I expected, quite cute really, the quadruple fold on the body and the double fold on the head works quite well and they are poseable to a degree. They where useful, if for nothing else, in helping me to decide on wether to use some MK1 or Eduard PE as they really give a sense of scale.

Nice addition Jase. So there are advantages to having too much PE then

Blimey, Jase you're cracking on with this. Good stuff though. Can I just ask, the Lifebelt Supports and Lifebelts don't look quite right, is there a mismatch in size between the Eduard Supports and the MK1 Belts?

Hi Andy, Yes there is a diferance between the two etch sets. the Eduard ech expects you to remove the moulded on life ring in one piece i think I am going to make a mould to make my own from green stuff. and use the etch life rings where not on a Eduard hanger. by the way be carful removing them from the fret the paint chipped on mine as i cut it off and half the ring paint fell off!! “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

Absolutely agree Jase, the Capstans look completely wrong, I like what you've done with them. Coming along nicely, I'm still waiting for the PE complexity to resolve itself. I'm seriously tempted to abandon the German and go for the Pontos.
