This is my Attempt at a natural finish to the Launch ,It has yet to be completed , Rubbed down and waxed . Once waxed it should be smooth and blemish free . ( I hope )

You might have a niggle later on with such as the Rudder, which has its parts number written across it, which will need to be removed for a natural/stained finish, nice work all the same!

Ferret I dyed the wood first , think i would of been better of with just coloured wax, decided to clean the whole launch with thinners , this has lightened the colour , Now i have waxed it . Big improvement . For the main ship I will be using just Wax , All my cannons i will replace with Brass barrels . Hope it all works out dont really want to paint anything . Will add more pics at a later date

To use fashionable parlance (within the jeans-hanging-below-the-hips-wannabe-'gangsta'-fraternity leastways); Respec' (This complimentary phrase is often accompanied by curious hand configurations which don't come across that well on a forum) To translate this into English... "Well done sir!" I admire your bravery in attempting a natural wood build. I look forward to seeing your finished launch. Schnellboots on back burner
