ok rob,the hole is def. not in the middle is it. so a bit of back tracking required, replace some deck flooring and start again, cut dead centre hole, before gluing, you might have to go lower down,to widen lower deck hole to get the mast straight. leave it any longer and will be too late to fix.
good luck, and take the repair as a phase in the building. k.

Hi karl,
The thing is that everything is glued, never thought to check before putting the cabins inBlushing Blushing Blushing. It was only when I measured the center line that I found out about it being off,I was horrifiedCursing Cursing Cursing

Ouch, that hurts!!

It should be no big problem to adjust the poop and the quarter deck.
But the lower decks won`t be easy - a long file is all that i can think of.

I wish you the best of luck.
Greetings,
Walter

Rob, so sorry to see this problem with your build, Crying Crying really hope it works out for you... Take your time on this repair, double check all your measurements before starting to cut... Once you have the mast in the correct position replanking part of the deck should cover most of the repair....Blink Blink . Fingers crossed for you as your build is really coming on a treat.....Cool Cool

Thanks for that Alan,
I suppose this is the cause of first time building of this type, I posted this earlier and thought I had it but obviously never checked it enough, just have to see what I can do with it and check the other two masts at the same time.
I will post after the big BigGrinOPERATIONBigGrin.
Thanks again for the confident remarks.

Hi all,
I have a gap on the sides on the top deck and nothing to lay a plank on to, I have put a bit of wood level with the planking on the side. Could anybody tell me if this will interfere with anything later in the build.
Thanks in advance
